chrome door panel removal

Anyone done this. I have read a few tips and I think it seems relatively easy but i do not have a heat gun. How hard is it to do with a hair dryer and goo gone?

I have a guy who said he would do it for $50 bucks but if I have the time and its not too difficult then i assume just to do it myself.

Thanks,

Taylor

are you talking the door ding guard on the doors?
If so it just takes a heat gun, and a plastic or rubber trowel that is soft to not scratch the paint.. mostly it the heat that does it and there will be some clean up afterwards.. if you dont heat the 2 sided adheasive up enough you can destroy the paint... I had mine tore off when it was in the body shop, looks better but is more suspetable to door dings now..

I pulled it off my wife's durango last Fall, the key is using a plastic scraper, and I used auto tech to remove the goo
