air bag light on, turn signals messed up

I have a 2006 2500 with only 60k miles, the air bag light just came on and the blinkers are really whacked. Even when using the hazards instead of a left or right blinker they blink at random intervals or stay on then go off or rights on when the left is off. I did a little search and found one possibility of the clock spring...any other ideas? I never brought it in for the airbag recall yet either.

that recall won't fix a light, unless there's an actual internal problem inside the airbag causing it...which is rare

i wouldn't be surprised if it were the clock spring...they tend to get wore out

If your clockspring is broken the airbag light goes on. If the recall replaces the clockspring you're light should go away.

As for the turn signals, maybe your signal switch assembly is messed up and causing the issues.
