ipod interface?

i was looking for an ipod interface for my truck, for now i have a cable going to my aux jack on my radio from my ipod, i would like the cable that hooks up to the back of the radio, and goes to the glovebox, and lets you control your ipod thru your radio, i went to the dealer and they said the dodge part was discontinued. does anyone know of a company or place where i can order something like this?

Was looking through the forums for the same thing and found this on the web if you are still looking for an ipod interface. Have not tried it.

Alright, I installed the Grom I-pod interface.

Pros....
Very good sound quality
Easy installation
Once you select a playlist on your I-Pod, you can use the seek buttons on the radio to skip forward or back.

Cons....
Messes with the gauges. Every once in a while with the I-Pod hooked up and playing it pings out all gauges. Driving home yesterday it made all the gauges drop and all lights come on on the dash and I had to stop, cycle the key and restart the truck to fix the issue. If this is the only thing it does then I can live with it for now. I would like to see someone buy the other interface and write a review of it.

Overall it is a good buy. At around $90 you can't really beat it. No static, very clear, easy to install. It just has one big con to it, messing with the gauges. I have yet to really dig into the user manual and unleash all of the features of it.

IPAC makes one for our trucks and it is FLAWLESS. You can pick them up for anywhere between 80-100 online. Full ipod integration and charges, ipod remains unlocked and the steering wheel controls work as well.

I just put an iSimple kit in my 04. Don't know if it's as good as the others but so far so good. Took about 15 mins total and cost $80 on ebay. The only issue I've noticed is the clock on the radio doesn't show up anymore. I had to drill an access hole for the iphone wire just under the blower control hook up. The wire comes out into the center open console where I keep the iphone. I used double sided tape to secure the control box to the top of the console (inside the dash). Took a few mins to get it all lined up before you could close it all back up. Works like a charm and no FM trans BS.

Forgot to mention that I'm now getting a dash "ding" every so often. It sounds like the low fuel ding. I've only heard it a few times in two days so I hope it's not going to become an issue. No warning lights on the dash with the sound, just a single "ding" and that's it. I guess I will just have to turn up the ipod.

Mopar-I was wrong. The brake light is on during the dash ding. Only for a sec, just caught it. I doubt it's related to interface. Just the clock issue which I can live with. Didn't want to scare you off.
