Check the Hours???

Hey guys i know there is a way to check the hours on my truck b/c i have done it before, but cant remmber how i did it.....something like hold down the odom. button and mess around with the key. so how did i do that?

I read that somewhere too.... hold down ODOM (trip meter) & turn key on ????

Yes to check the hours turn truck off then hold trip reset button and then turn truck on should show total hrs on motor.

Tried that on my 03. dash went through some type of test mode but didn't show any hours.

When you hold the button and then turn the key on you are doing a guaged calibration.
To check hours turn the key to the on/run postion, press and hold the trip button for ~8 sec. On mine I had to make sure the read out was on odd and not trip.
