I can't accelerate at all without my truck hazing. It's embarrassing at times. About a month ago I was driving though town, taking it easy, and a cop pulled out behind me. He followed me through 3 lights and right into a gas station. He rolled down his window and all he said was " I'm watching you." It's going to get bad for us with modded trucks. I only go into town with my truck now to get fuel. Do yourself and the rest of us a favor, keep the smoke to a minimum. Please.

Last year I was coming home for KY and a kid in a 2nd gen in front of me stomped on it and smoked me out in my wifes car. When I stopped for gas I noticed little black soot spots all over the car. It didn't bother me, but put yourself in the other persons shoes. Does that mom taking her kids to soccer practice want soot all over her car?

My opinion on this is , yes my truck can smoke out an intersection at any given time...Do I???? NO!!! I understand that it does affect other drivers, so I do pick and choose where and when. I personally think what is real runny, is that most of the people that actually complain about my truck have a cigarette hanging out of their mouth. Maybe they are complaining about the wrong smoker.

Heck at the price of fuel any more, I keep my foot out of it as much as I can. But in my opinion, I think that if we are worried about the "Future" of our sport, there can't be a "time and place" for smoke. It either has to be all or nothing in my opinion. Now I don't think that smoking someone out for the fun of it is right, and I also don't think I would like my truck nearly as much if it didn't smoke when I smash the throttle and kill a mustang that gets cocky and thinks an 8k lb truck can't move (lol). All I am saying is we should all be safe, have some fun, and respect ourselves and others! I just don't think that if we are worried about the epa getting even more pissed than they already are, that there is a "time and place" for smoke. Can't we all just get along!!! I mean hell we all have one thing in common.... we all bought the best truck on the road, so lets stick together!!!

while everyone smokes (except me )i understand that smoking is fun when your driving past your friends, and for a um... "working girl" walkign down the road, but smoking out families is kind of rude. funny, but will lead to more restrictions. and ESPECIALLY dont smoke out bicyclists.. they are the tree hugging sierra club hippies!!

Wow this forum is really going to $hit. You guys are basically pissing in the wind...We could make every single diesel pickup in the world stop smoking, but you know what? The government is STILL going to try to regulate it somehow because there currently is little regulation on them, and thats what they do!! The government needs money to, any way they can get it! 50% of the threads that I read on here have something to do with this. Some guy has an Edge comp that he thinks is broken or something because he doesn't see a cloud of smoke, and then all he gets is a bunch of people saying "Why do you want it to smoke? blah blah blah...frankly I'm sick of it. I'm just gonna stop coming to this forum pretty soon.

its a open forum, come and go as you please. but yes i have seen a couple forums were that has happened and was uncalled for. but a thread that "pro"dumping smoke on people deserves some cyber bashing. but still all in good taste.
