I just put on a hushpower. It was my 3rd muffler and I love it good deep sound when you want it and quiet no drone the rest of the time. My other 2 mufflers were magnaflow and the 51" donaldson they were both 5" tho and I took that all off and put a4" system with the hushpower. Much better

I put the Aero 4040xl which is the resonated version and it is waaaaay loud on my short box. My buddy has the same muffler on an 06' and a long box and his is quiter but still loud.

I still have it but I will probably re-install it in the spring when the tractor mowing picks back up.

I just put sound deadening b-quiet on the rear wall and the rear floor and it made a big difference in quietness. Now it seems like all the noise is coming from the motor so I have to do the front floor and up the firewall LOL.

Love my Hush Power and its sound, only complaint is that I set it up as a 5" dump after the muffler and with no cat. I Still like it but the sounds does slightly apmlify under the truck.

How weird. I am a "Danderson," too, living not too far from the border and I have the same truck. Hmmmm. Anyway, could you give me a link to the Shuttleworth muffler? Any other mods needed? Is a cat delete legal in AZ?

Powermad, just put the 40" Donaldson on my rig. Way better than the MBRP gurgly sound. It is between stock and the MBRP as far as volume. Very deep rumble and very tolerable in the cab....

Defiant Truck Products - Defy Terra Firma!. You'll see two mufflers on the site. Mine is not the straight through design. Paul Fox owns the company and also Orange Muffler on site. It's best to speak to him directly. Knowledgable, good guy. My buddy's got the same setup, same '07. We retained the cats with emissions coming up and our warranty's current(not much longer though) I'm in San Diego. We rode in Paul's qc '05 and told him to bog it. Zero drone.
