Trailer lights
My truck is an 03 3500, I am having a problem with the trailer lights, on both my flat bed and covered trailer. I'm pretty sure the issue isn't with the trailers, given the fact that they worked fine with my old dodge truck & neither work now. The trailer brake shows the trailer connected. Any suggestions? Another request for information, would any have or know where I can get a drawing for the electrical connection? Where the trailer plugs into the truck. Thanks, Jerry

95% of trailer light issues that I have experienced are with the ground wire problems. Try checking the ground terminal on your truck and check where the wire grounds to your truck. May be the ground wire is broken somewhere on your truck.

See if you have power at the plug in on the truck....you might not. If so it could be the lighting module under the fuse box. This was the case with my buddy's 03 and the case with my tail light (also an 03). My $0.02.....just wire around the problem with a relay, etc rather than spend hundreds replacing the junk computer.
