Need Help With Color?

OK here’s the deal. I will be putting the truck in the body shop in the next month. I just don’t know what color to go with. It is bright silver now (fiberglass fenders are white) but I was think about repainting the same color. On the other hand I have always wanted to paint it plum crazy with a black hood. I may try to sell the truck I the next six months (time to build another). So what does everyone think silver or purple? The truck turns heads like crazy now so I don’t want to go to over the top (like its not already).

and if your going to try and sell just think about tryin to sell a plum crazy purple...Dang... truck...............not many ppl lookin for that.

I have a friend that has owned 3 "purple" vehicles. He is a little different.

I would think that ANY thought of selling would PREVENT you from going purple. Silver is popular. I don't know your location but the further south you go the lighter you color should be if you want to sell... light colors are cooler in hot climates.

not purple! i know a guy who has a dark grey/purple theme going on in his cummins, but dont make the whole dang thing purple! if resale value is what youre after, red is ALWAYS an eye catcher... some love it, some hate it. i have had 2 red vehicles just because i got smokin deals on them but when i went looking for a cummins, NOT being red was a criteria

IMO, avoid a color change unless you plan to disassemble the truck. (Very Costly to do it right)

Thanks guys, I have not cut corners yet I would not start with the paint. Yes it would be cheaper and easier. I guess I am 1 of a few that likes the old school mopar paint schema. As far as the bed goes well???

definately silver! would look good purple if it was your truck and would give you compliments but most people want basic colors
