backlight for ac controls

is there a way to change the bulbs on the ac controls. i have an 06 and the lights behind the ac controls seems to be gettibng dimmer by the day. any sugestions??

Yep the dealer has them. There like 2$ each. When you take the dash apart and take out the control unit. (you can leave it all pluged in) you will see 3 little white spots on the back of it. Take a pocket screwdriver and turn them they drop right out. I'll find the part # this afternoon for the bulbs.

part number - 05013815aa

There is a 1- on the front of that number on the package, but i think that is just stating that there is 1 of the 05013815aa

I would think that the ones for my 04.5 would be the same buld as your 06s..

Yeah sorry took for ever to find the bag. 1-0513815AA is the # i have witch is the same one that JTPro listed.

Yeah but you dont have to open the control unit like he did in the DIY. 2 pocket screwdrivers will get you the same results.

I just took mine apart to replace the builbs and i thought you couldnt replace them. Good thing someone started this thred, someone make it sticky!
