Interior Lights Flicker after gauge install

After I installed my Isspro Pryo the dome light and console lights flicker when the door is open. Any Ideas on a cause. When I connected the dimmer wire from the gauge to the switch I used the wrong orange/brown wire first but re-solder it back together. Is a bad solder connection potentially to blame?
Thanks
-Steven

Pop the switch back out of the dash and try wiggling the wire and see if it affects it any. If so, then you found your cause. Otherwise one of your other connections may need attention....
