Could be a few different things. Do all of your steering wheel controls still work?

Yeah, I've seen clock springs go bad as well so if you have other components not working in the steering wheel that could be the problem. The airbag module I believe is similar to the ABS unit in the sense that you can't get codes out of the OBD-II port. I think short of having a dealer read the codes out of the module so you can narrow down your search you should check the fuses with a Meter (not just a visual inspection) it is going to be pretty tough to narrow down your cause.

Yeah, on mine the clockspring went bad. I new that, because none of my steering wheel controls worked. If they do work, you should be able to rule out the clockspring, and start the search from there.

Other things can work on your steering wheel with a bad clock spring. Or a clockspring that is going bad. Mine started with the Air bag light dinging. The cruise and horn still worked . Then the horn stopped, then the cruise. So just because your airbag light is going off and other things work, it could still be the clockspring. Anybody no if there is a DIY thread on here to install the new one?? I have looked but have been unseccesful!
