I thought about doing this but HIDsolutions.com are pre wired for our trucks and have a discount code. You can save some money elsewhere, (not much) but I doubt you get as good of a kit.
I was thinking of xenongate, until he said they were made in China to OEM specs. Who's OEM, I don't know. Prob. lead ballast lol!!!

hey, im having a problem with my hids too. i cant seem to get a simple answer from anyone. i wired up my relay and all they do is flicker. i then took it upon myself to cut out the relay and wire them straight to my original headlight harness. they worked great until i started the truck then the lights would just flicker and go out. do you know a simple way i can bypass this problem without spending a bunch of money. anyhelp is much appreciated. thanks!!!

Im having a slight problem with my HID headlights, I hve 10k ones in now. Over the past 2 months Ive went through 3 special harness (with 2 Resistors in them) during that time and each one seems to be defective. The lights will work for a month, 2 days, you name it and quit working. I know its in the harness itself because after the previous ones went bad I installed a new and that solved it. They are not working again, im getting fed up with it so if anyone out there has anything to help and make my them stay lit that would be great1! Thanks Jeff

Almost every company out there is made in China. There is only 1-2 main manufacturers of budget HID kits. If you dont want the cheap China ones, you are gonna have to pony up for a set of Bosch or similar like you would find on a Lexus, etc. Its gonna cost you $400+ for a "nice" set.
