code 1652 solved, maybe

gauges were going wild and the clockspring controlls on steering wheel stop working, radio died, locked on am no cd or fm, engine dies occasionaly.
got a hint from a prior thread to check the harness from pcm to tranny. found the trans range selector connection full of oil. cleaned it with carb cleaner and all seems fine so far!

J1850 circuit shorted to ground. Sounds like you got er licked.

I cant believe all the electrical and tranny problems this caused ! One short to ground in the tranny caused even the radio to fail.
