2003 Ram, I noticed in your last pic the tie rod bolts to the bottom side of the pitman arm. Did the original set up have the tie rod bolted to the top of the pitman arm? On my 07 the tie rod is mounted on the top of the pitman arm, I like the bottom mount better and plan on changing to this new set up soon.

....is that what you meant.

new oem setup

don thurens

as you can see with the pic's its not a true solid set as far as the OEM setup vs don's....thurens is what you want.
wrong truck to compare it to.... and mags contact the track bar because the arms you have are garbage.. I went through the same problem...

yes my crappy super garbage control arms... they give the same set for the 4" and 6" and puch the axel to far forward... causing the track bar to bind during up travel... I had to make a track bar with a wicked bend to clear the diff... then I decided instead of spending a 100 bucks on arms.. and I have built numerous rock crawlers...build my own....save 600 bucks.... same quality as thurens...which are awesome using the same parts...

moparonlineparts.com 52122362ae kit, 52122370ab damper, 68039930AA pitman arm
6502473---Bolt (1), to attach steering damper
6505623AA---Nuts (3), to attach new linkage
6502835---Nuts (2), to attach steering damper
It's where I ordered my stuff

When I typed in the part number for the pitman arm it came up with this

Steering - Steering gear & linkage - Pitman arm Pitman arm, ram 1500 mega cab - power - conventional, 4wd (2008) 2008

I have an 04.5 2500 short bed will it work? It says its for a 1500 mega cab.
