I am looking at an 06 quad cab, 4x4 6 speed dually. 46K on the ticker, 28,000$.
Are there any known issues with the 06s?
How does that price sound?
Tell me what you think.
sounds a little high IMO, i guess it would all depend on the overall condition of the truck and how bad you want it. my 06 hasnt given me any problems besides 1 injector.

Folks like to charge more for stuff in Arizona. Its ridiculous. One place I looked would post the Kelley blue book then add a "market correction" of 2 grand or more.
Its BS.
I got my mega with only 23,400 miles for $31,500 (I actually paid 500 over the reserve so he would take it off ebay - buy it now was $34,000 with a 7/70 warranty that I did not want, but reserve was $31K)
I shopped for about 10 months when I was looking for my 06-07.4 mega (5.9L). I saw many QC with 60K or less miles for $25K or less, but they were all over the country (internet shopping is fun). If you want your local one but want the price lower, shop online and print them out. Take that with you and tell the seller that you can fly out and drive back for less than $1000, but like this one and want to buy locally.
My opinion is you pay $1000 over your average online price (probably around 25K)
Play hardball. Good deals are out there.
NOTE: a good deal is ANYTHING that YOU say is a good deal (other idiots may say you paid too much, but after you own it for 7 or more years, AND YOU WILL, then who cares as long as you are happy?)

Is your truck a 4X4?
Another question, do the newer trucks wander like the 2nd gens?
