Steering gets stuck at highway speeds

Hello all,
I have another steering issue that I could use some direction on. The dealer has already told me that he couldn't find anything, but now the issue has progressed, so I hope to get some ideas here that I can bring to him

It started out with something a "clunking" noise up front and no power steering when driving slow. Dealer couldn't find anything wrong and said the tsb wasn't applicable.
Now, at highway speeds, when going around a bend in the road, the steering gets stuck and I have to "pop" it out by forcefully turning past what feels like a detent in the gear
The dealer said that they would have a look at it again under warranty (it's two weeks out of warranty) but I'm hoping to tap into the collective knowledge here for some ideas
The truck is a 2006 CTD CC Bone stock, 265 tires
I plan on taking a BD stabilizer with me and having them install it, and I'm thinking of having a Carli Performance 20 system installed Any thoughts?
thanks a lot - Joe

Mine made a huge "clunk" noice while backing up my 5er after a great 4th of July weekend Noise was loud Checked the TSB and mine has the tie rod that isn't part of the TSB I parked it, but will drive it this weekend and see if it sticks like yours while turning

Your steering gear box is BAD.Replace it quick it is unsafe.
Once it gets notchy it will only get worse. When you are laying under the truck have a helper turn the wheel back and forth rapidly. You will see the slop and feel the clunk by placing your hand on the pitman arm.
