Ok so I am hoping not to start a "death wobble" thread and the ill fate of those with leveling kits.
I put on a leveling kit, and I do not have the dreaded DW (knock on wood). I have noticed a popping I feel in the steering wheel at low speeds. There is no sound/noise I just feel a pop or catch in the steering wheel. I can not see anything wrong, worn or out of whack.
I did not do anything except have the dealer put in the HBS spacer, and allign the truck. I handles fine (knock on wood again), high speed, towing and all. Oh yeah stock tires. thoughts?

If you ever find out the problem, let me know. I same the same problem since 93,000 miles. Took the dealer and they were clueless. SAD FACT IS I HAVE NOT DONE ANY MODS ON MY TRUCK.
if you have your stock trackbar that would be the first place id look. Because it was designed for a stock height truck (as well as the other front end parts) but the track bar is not pulling your whole axle over toward your driver side of the truck because of the level kit which is putting a ton of extra wear on it.
I got the same thing since about 50k. Took it to the dealership and they said it was the track bar, so they thought. Drove it home, pulled in the driveway, and that damn knock was back. After two more trips and apparrent solutions they finally figured it out. I am not exactly sure of the name of the part but I do know that it is between the steering box and the steering wheel. It is something that links something in the steering that is worn. $1,300.00 later it has fixed the problem. It won't do anything to make your truck unsafe but it damn sure will take the aggrevation away from you when you drive it.

On my 06 had click or pop noise on low speed turns. Have leveling kit with no problems for a while. dodge did h46 recall and 4 new ball joints and no more noise.
Gentlemen,
I think I have a cure for the popping or "clunking felt in the steering wheel at low speeds. (parking lots, residential streets, and coming to a stop) I have battled this for 4 months. I read a thread in here to grease the intermediate shaft on the steering shaft. I cut the top metal band the holds the black rubber boot on and I unbolted it below the black boot. Peel back that boot and pull the splined end out as far as you can. Get some good grease ( I used what I use on the ball joints) and rub on moving in and out. Put back together and I have solved my problem. Before I did this easy and free fix, I spent $800 bucks on ball joints and stabilizer and alignments. Hope this will help you guys.
look at your cab mounts i had some that were loose and it made a pop noise
