5" exhaust with dual rear shocks?

Does anyone have dual rear shocks installed with 5" exhaust? I have dual rear pro comps on right now and as is the stock exhaust rubs on the shock boot. Anyway I want to upgrade exhaust maybe to 5". Has anyone had clearance problems with dual rear shocks and larger exhaust systems?

You're not going to get much difference between a 4 or 5" exhaust. I have duals on my truck and have a 4" MBRP exhaust. No clearance issues at all, well except for having to remove the spare tire. It was in the way.

I'd just install a 4" and not have to worry about the rubbing. Or, take off the shock boot.

I was pretty sure i would have to stay with the 4" inch exhaust. I dont have the spare tire on the truck anyway since I have 37s on.

from what I've read.... your 4" exhaust is good to 500hp and maybe a little more. It will be fine.

I didn't mind loosing the spare either because of the 37's. Between it and the full stock exhaust coming off, I bet I took 200 or more pounds off the truck.
