Help truck dead non emergency

So I'm putting a truck I bought modified back to stock I removed a viper alarm aftermarket stereo speaker box subs amps dvd player hids mp8 the whole works...my gauges were acting up after i did all this the "no bus" crap...tonight i was checking grounds and now my truck is completely dead headlights door chime and dome lights all work rest is caput...the only things i did besides wiggle grounds (all were tight) take apart and clean the two wire connectors right next to the tipm and basically finished off what was left of a ground strap on the drivers side directly above the front driveshaft directly behind the starter up on the body of the truck thing was totally disintegrated...it goes behind the motor someplace...heres a pic.

where do i start?

sounds like there maybe broken wires most-likely caused by wire taps, where alarm, audio or lighting connections are made to vehicle harness for power, grounds, locks or starter disabling. you will have to remember where you saw them and remove them peal the wire back to inspect and repair any that have broken wires.
Here is a good article on the subject. and hope you figure it out. this is only a suggestion on a possible cause.

two of the main power wires have t taps on them i just left them on there thinking they would be ok...the wires that they didn't use t taps were totally screwed and had to be redone...thanks for the help...does that ground strap deal do anything? i did check for power at the ignition switch connector and there is power coming into the switch on 4 or 5 terminals

yep for sure repair that ground wire, it probably goes from a motor bolt to a body bolt.
