broken fan blades and raditor

all right guys i need some help. I have a 06 that i have broken the fan and cut the electric wires and punch a hole into the raditor.The first one broke four fan blades, that was 2 weeks ago. I bought a new raditor and fan and installed it. and friday night it happen again. braking 1 blade and chipping 1, the wire got cut again and put in yet another hole in my raditor. and before any one ask not i don't 4wheel it or pull it. that truck is baby beside me driving it fast.

You must have something really wrong. Did you replace the first one? How was the fan clutch and bearings? Broken engine mount? Are you out of warranty?

yes i did replace both parts the first time. yes my warrenty is out on the truck but i thought the engine is covered for 100k. clutch and bearing looked good . if i was to run the truck with the wire being cut is that going to make a different . or what if i was to take the mech fan off and run electric how well will that work out for me

I'm not sure on the engine warranty, but I would think this is covered. You can run the truck without the wire being connected but the computer will not have a method of engaging the fan. It may cause it to overheat, and your AC probably won't be as effective.

then what about running an electric fan instead,and would i be able to wire the computer to turn the electric fan on.

my friend had the same problem with his 06.....his fan cut some wires to....how many miles are on you truck?

it has 71000 on it right now. so what caused the fan to brake

it wont be under warrenty then.....his fan didnt break it just cut wires an messed up his radatior....they didnt tell us what it was they just fixed it. it was very weird

that is crazy.....i know they make electric fans.... Flex-a-lite makes a good kit,

You could use the factory wires to operate a relay for the fans. Go take a look at different electric fan setups. Flexlite is the only manufacture that I'm familiar with too.
