i'M READY TO DUMP THIS PIECE OF CRAP DODGE!!! I'M SO SICK OF THESE PROBLEMS WITH THIS THING. Now i go out this morning and my drivers door won't unlock?! it opens from the inside but the lock won't go up and it won't open with the key either. I just took it all apart and looked at everything and nothing is binding or bent or broken. Can the actual latch assembly go bad. i grab the piece that the lock rod connects to and it won't move up all the way and unlock the door, i screwed with it for a long time and still no go, its like somthing in the latch assembly it self is binding or not letting it go up? This might put me over the edge, i've had nothing but problems with this damn truck all stupid little stuff but it all costs big money. some one help me and show me there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Im sorry, you sound real fed up with your Dodge but dond quit yet. I had the same thing with my truck, its just the power door assembly. around $90 from the stealership and about an hour or so of cussin and drinkin to get it put in. Heres some support
i owe too much on it to give it away. i couldn't get the dang thing out of the door, i had it unbolted and all wiring and rods off it and it just wouldn't wiggle out of there? So if i buy one can i put it in on my own?

Yea its a pretty simple install but it is a TIGHT fit so it will take alot of 4-lettered words to get it put in. Im making it sound worse then it is, it took me an hour, youll be fine.
This should help you out. Mine has been out for about 3 months now. I haven't gotten around to doing it yet. Right now, I am trying to run down a leak. My passenger side front to back stays soaked and I have no clue where it is coming from!!! Anyway, I hope that link helps ya out!

ah ha, the window track thats why it didn't want to come out. i noticed it but didn't want to take it too far apart without a new part to put back in, easy enough. thanks again fellas. Does everyone else have this many probs with their trucks or is it just my luck, PRV is popped, Tranny is kinda weak, cruise STILL won't work, 4x4 doesn't work, can't even steer the damn thing in a straight line, one window won't work, just replaced all front end parts, bumper is rusting already, whats next? HAHA i love life. i Know most of these things can go wrong on any truck but i need to vent!

If you have a moon roof....check the drain tubes that drain the channel around the roof......I remember another member having that issue , and it was caused by the drain tubes being plugged.......I think they go down through the A pillars.
