block heater?

Do all cummins come with a block heater?My salesman told me if its mot on the mso it didnt come with one. True or not? thanks

I think ALL Cummins come with a block heater, that said after about 2002 or 2003 they don't come with the power cord. Do a search & you should find tons of info?

Mine came standard with the heater and the cord, I don't know why they dont all come with them. Rediculous.

If there is no cord, look under the exhaust manifold around the 4th cylinder back and there is a socket with a plastic cap on it. pop off the cap and by a plug for the heater and just plug it in. Not too hard.

As was said above , they all have the block heater , just not all come with the cord.
DO NOT buy the cord from your dealer ! They will charge you two to three times what you can get them for elsewhere.

Call up any Cummins dealer and they will ship the cord right to your door for a cost of approx' $11.50 plus shipping.
