Truck is all stock. Engine will stay stock. I am not adding power to this unit. Has 202K on it and trans is nearing its end. I am going to have a rebuild done and I would like suggestions for which parts make sense to replace with upgraded or "high performance" and which parts make sense to replace with OEM.
I have heard about triple "whatever" torque converter. Have heard them called triple lock, triple disc and I don't know what it actually is.
I know it needs bands and probably drums. Is there an upgrade for that?
I have done the solenoid and transducer with BW upgrade.
What else makes sense?
I really don't know jack about transmissions so I want a plan when I go talk to a shop so they aren't selling me into some all billet pulling rig setup.
This is a daily driver and I pull a 10K camper with it about 10-20 times per year.
