Hey, I have been searching through different threads as I have went through all the front end crap that is common with our trucks. I started with a bad ball joint that had worn the edge of my old tires off and had a bad driver side pull. Replaced the ball joints, tires and put a dual steering stabilizer on. Went on a 100 mile drive to see how it felt, everything was smooth and quiet, but it wandered the road like crazy. Took it in and had it aligned, guy said the rest of the joints looked good and that he had to max out the caster to get it to where he wanted(let me throw in that alignment stuff is not familiar to me at all). Now it tracks straight, wheel is straight, and I think the wandering has improved a lot (but I was waiting to see of the bj would loosen up a little with more mileage to get to where it was before) but now it has a bad steering wheel vibration that comes on at 55 mph or so, it was fine before the alignment but now I have read that the steering box can cause vibrations and wandering I just don't see why it was so smooth before the alignment, so here. I begin the tail chasing. I know there are many threads on this kind of stuff but everytime I read through 15 pages of posts just to find no one ever followed up on what solved the problem, thanks for any input
