First post on the forum. Hopefully can get some advice from some of you about lifts. I currently have a 4.5in Fabtech on my 2006 QCSB 5.9l and was looking into running an 8in longarm with 2.5in coil spacers up front. I found this lift http://www.topguncustomz.com/p-1348...-stage-3-long-arm-suspension-lift-system.aspx and thought it looked decent. Any suggestions / advice? thanks
8" is pretty much the max you can go without modifying driveline. After 8" and into the 10" realm you will have to do something with your front driveshaft, either a transfer case drop, a transfer case indexing ring or both. as far as 8" kits go, for the big box kits i would run BDS long arm. If you have the money, pure performance i thnk has a nice 8" kit and I believe carli has a 6" kit. IF I ran a carli 6" kit i would not be opposed to running 2-2.5 " spacer ontop of that since it is long arm.
bds springs are known for sagging tho. but other than that i believe there an ok kit but even with there new 8 in kit you have to put a index ring in. and if u get there kit make sure you upgrade from there white body shocks to there fox upgrade option.
if you have the money to spend on a whiplash suspension, go buy carli, thuren or pure performance. PLEASE.
