I have a 05 qcsb pretty much stock i usually get 700km per tank (435 mile) is this average? on a side note it is still somewhat winter here in canada and I've only owned the truck since the beginning of winter. will it get better once it warms up? That works out to about 16 mpg because there is usually between 5-7 gallons left when i fill up. just curious to see what others get with the 325hp,610 models 04.5-07

Crap I get around a 1000 to 1200 miles what am doing different. Oh wait I forget I put in a 65 gallon Titan fuel tank just had mess with you all on this Monday night. In all truth it cost a little but dang it's nice to be able to drive that many miles and never worry about fuel, and it's nice when your pulling to.
Towing 10k lbs I'll get between 390-420 miles on a full tank. Unloaded I can get a little over 600 miles on a full tank rolling 55-65mph. That's with my 3500 6.7 dually, 3:73 gear. Its pretty close to the same miles on my 2500 5.9 with 3:42 gear. Both have stock size tires and both running a tow/street tune with EFI.
465 was my best.
running a 4x4 6speed on 35's.
injectors, exhaust, smarty on 30hp tune, stock turbo/boost, CAI and an airdog 150. thats all city. back and forth to work, up to the parts store. i've never done a straight interstate run at 65-70 without pulling something. but i probably will here soon as im about to help a buddy move to florida.
i have an HTT turbo im about to install with a 2nd gen manifold, i am curious to see if it changes. i also plan to do the tone ring mod, the say/ you get .5-1.0mpg difference. will update when i get time... and probably some more coin
