UM...you might have more luck posting this outside of our DPP forum. This is more for FASS related questions. Ill ask an admin to move it for ya for more exposure.
This in a Sprinter? Liberty? Most new diesels need a brake in period before fuel mileage goes to the sweet spot. Magic number seems to be 15,000 miles to 25,000 miles.
Also, some dealer reflashes have been known to reduce mileage. BUT I would feel that there would be a lot of complaints that they would make a change….best to keep an ear to the gnd to see if they ever come up with any new reflashes pertaining to mileage. I know the Cummins had one or two for the 600’s if I recall correctly.
You might also want to locate a Blue Tec specific forum…don’t know if you will have much luck in a Cummins Forum with questions about your engine. Not that we are not happy you are here...its just that most here have a 5.9 or 6.7 Cummins.
