Correct - the CP3 will pull 20" vacuum on the line to the tank, drawing fuel - the Jeep doesn't have an aux lift pump, always running in the draw-from mode - depending on the a\m pump, if it is drawthru-type, the CP3 can draw fuel thru it without the bypass - any 2micron filters will add some restriction over the oem 10micron.
Even if it won't win any races, it'll still getcha home................
