Why a low mileage 5.9? That engine with only normal maintenance will go 500,000 miles PLUS. We bought one with 120,000 miles for a song and now have over 210,000 miles now and just added a bypass filter.
The 2gen trucks are a real savings in truck payments / bank interest.

I had a 2nd gen gas 5.9 and it was okay, but I had some build quality problems. I had rust on my doors (pinch weld pushed out), my friends dash cracked 3 times, small back seat. Other than that it was a good truck, I just like the 3rd gens better.
Low milage because of financing. I've heard it's harder (or impossible) to get financing when there is over 100k miles on the odometer (dealer told me this). I also seem to be driving around 20k a year so it's going to add up quick since I plan to keep it a while.
