I am averaging about 16mpg, but my truck only has a few thousand miles on it. Once I get some miles on the motor, and switch to 4.10's, I am sure it will get much better. You have just broken in your motor already. That is the trade off with having a brand new truck. My 03 had 160,000 miles on it, and it got 20+mpg. I also have a heavy foot, so that doesnt help.
