i have ran ATF in my fuel for several years because i was told the crappy fuel needed extra lube. it served its purpose & did increase fuel mileage. the problems didnt come until modern technology brought the new injectors with o-rings. as anyone who has used ATF in place of power steering fluid knows, it will swell rubber parts. it only took me one (1) round of replacing injectors because the o-rings swelled to learn that i had been mis-informed about running ATF in fuel. this is a bad idea & reminds me of something mom said when i was young. if all your friends are gonna jump off a bridge, are you going to?
im alot more careful who i listen to now.
