"Went to International dealer today and bought lift pump for $70.00. Asked for Cummins part #4090046, that's the lift pump they use on firetrucks and ambulances with 5.9's. Some Cummins dealers will let you buy direct from them, some won't. Best to find an I.H. dealer or Freighrliner shop and have them order for you. Here's the part number: 4090046 and here's the info. you should give them to qualify: engine number 56561524. This is a 1999 manufacture date 250 Encore ISB 5.9 Cummins engine, which allegedly qualifies ... good luck! Like I said, try a Freightliner or IH shop. Mine said they will order any part # we ask for. They told me Cummins wont question it from them."
Sorry I have been gone for so long. I got the above info from the site I normally hang out on. If you can do this, great. I will check to see if I can get it here locally. If you can't get it where you are; I will see about getting some here and I will gladly ship you one (As long as you pay for it.... Of course!)
