In my experience, Ford parts have always cost more then Chevy parts and in some cases Dodge as well. That is one reason I personally do not care for Ford. Not to mention their trucks are pricey in comparison to the other makers.

I just drove one of the new F-350's with the new diesel in it. We just got it in at work. I can't say i was impressed with it but also I was not unimpressed. One thing for certain though, that engine bay is a NIGHTMARE. I would hate to have to work on one

I am not against Ford personally I just think they are over priced for both new and used and have yet to drive one that felt good to me. Also just to some google searches on the new engine and you will see there are a ton of problems with the new diesels. THats not totally Fords fault but it's in a Ford truck and that gives cause for people to dog Ford.
