Well now! It looks like there is a recall of some sorts to reprogram the ecu. I talked to a knowledgeable guy who was sweeping the garage floor, and he said that the reprogram is the first thing to do with the problem. Also there is a soot filter in the exhaust system that may be clogging. The filter goes through a prosess that clean's it's self every so often. The system was made for towing and highway use mostly, so city driving will not get the thing hot enough to clean the thing out, this is called restriction of your exhaust gasses leaving the engine. Now you might say that I am full of it, but that makes sence to me. My fuel milage was going up to around 16 mpg just before this all came about. with 1,700 miles on the engine, break in is not complete. the dealer said 2,000 miles for break in but, with so close of tolerence's, it may take longer. I was also told that the engines really don't get real good mileadge till thay reach 100,000 miles.
