My last dodge has 220,000 on the odometer with only a fuel pump replaced. Never a tranny issue, and it did pleny of towing. On the other hand, my friend has a 05 6.0 Powerstroke for three months and half of that has been in the shop. It's had three or four new injectors, two turbos, and a few other smaller odds and ends. Also, at work, we have an 06 6.0, and it is on its third turbo in th first 10,000 miles. The 7.3's were excellent, but the 6.0's have always been terrible. As far as the dodge truck itself, it doesn't have as good of a reputation, but we've farmed with them and always had fewer problems than ford or chevy. Just my 2 cents worth.
