2014 Ram factory supplemental air suspension system for Ram 3500

They are supposed to have it.... Standard correct?

Mine doesn't have it...???

Any ideas.

I read somewhere on this forum that it was going to be an option.

I think production is also scheduled for March 2014 also.

Ram is not manufacturing trucks with it yet. It is a late-release item, as in, early next year, and I believe even then it will be optional, not standard.

That is my only idea .

Do we even want it? Or is it just more complexity to have problems with...

Not sure I want the added complications. I have a 2011 build 2012 model 3500 Longhorn Mega Cab, suspension is simple and just fine....

Things are evolving rapidly with these trucks. I will be curious to see what the 2015 model year holds.

'97 3500 4x4 CC DRW, 4.10's, Banks PowerPack, BD torque converter and valve body, BD exhaust brake, 60# valve springs, Torqloc, gauges...

I took your advice Lone ranger and went with a 3500 longhorn Mega because of the simple suspension, didn't think it was worth waiting for the air bags. Nick

My 14 doesn't have it and I don't want it. I'll add Firestone air bags if needed later. I don't want to have some new technology like the factory air suspension break on me with my family in the truck and a 12k trailer behind me on our way to a week long vacation spot.
