Sticker Question - Rear Axle Ratio

All stickers show the standard ratio. Question is how do you know if its a 3.42, 3.73 or a 4.10? The stickers name both 3.42 AND 3.73 on some. Does this mean there is a 3.73 in the truck?

Not an owner - yet. Goal is a 3500 CTD CC DRW. When I look at trucks on the dealer websites I'd like to know what rear end ratio they have.

3.42 is standard, if 3.73 is listed, it should have that in it, even if both are listed.
Standard features on left column, and the changes or options in right column if I remember correctly.

Both 3.73 and 4.10 are options at $50, if not listed/priced as an option on the sticker, then 3.42 is standard. This is true for the 2014 3500 DRWs.

Window Sticker has both 3.42 and 3.73 so which is actually on the truck?

On the right hand side of the sticker it states

- 6 speed manual
- 3.42 rear axle ratio
- 3.73 rear axle ratio

???

You don't say what the truck is. If it's a 3500, then whatever the highest number ratio is on the window sticker is what it is. 3.42 is the default so they're probably listing that as "standard equipment." Then the higher number (3.73 or 4.10) is listed as "optional equipment."

If it's a 2500, it has to be a 3.42 and it's a mistake to have 3.73 or 4.10 on the window sticker.

As it appears on my 2014 3500 DRW Window Sticker:

AISIN Heavy Duty 6-Speed Automatic Transmission $ 2,795
3.42 Rear Axle Ratio
3.73 Rear Axle Ratio $ 50
6.7L Cummins(R) Turbo Diesel w/Exhaust Brake $ 7,995

I ordered 3.73s, and the Ram "build" site is still inaccurate on this and the build pricing.

Why did they limit the 2500's to the 3.42?
