Replacement air filter 2013 Ram 2500 6.7L

Gentlemen...I just purchased a 2013 Ram 2500 6.7L diesel and am trying to find a replacement air filter, K&N, AFE, etc. So far I have had no luck, not even the manufactures reps have been of any assistance. Not looking foe a cold air system just a replacement. Any one have any suggestions or had luck finding a replacement filter?

The problem has been that Dodge put a shallow air box in the 2013 and the replacement can only be 4" to 41/2" deep. Will have a look at the flat filter you have suggested. And yes the reps have not been of much help as none could/would give me the physical measurements to check if the filter(s) would git.

A pic I took of the OEM filter next to a 12 oz. Mountain Dew can. The MD can is 4.75" in height.

That's the same OEM filter that came with my truck. Now, try to find an after market afe or k&n that will replace it. I can find paper filters (OEM) but not the oiled type. Thanks for the feed back

Update, as I'm writing this got a call from my truck salesman. He says afe has three filters that will work. They are 30-10102 Pro 5, 31-10102 Dry S and 73-10102 Pro 7. The dealership recommends the Dry S filter as they have been having issues with the oiled filters contaminating some of the sensors.

Thanks again for everyones input and help. I'm going to try the Dry S.

What's wrong with the factory filter? It flows as good as an aftermarket filter, yets filters way better. If you like your warenty and don't want to run the risk of dusting a 15k engine for no gain of any aftermarket filter, then stick with the stock filter. Don't even consider the K&n filter, I am not going to get into all the negatives about them, you can do a search.

I always thought the oiled filters were a no no on diesels. I've stayed away from them and always used OEM.

I really cant find the micron rating for the donaldson, so it might be worth a call once its new filter time.

Thanks for the info!
