The dealer should be able to turn it off.

Ive turned mine off in my 3rd gen because driving around in fields at the farm its super annoying.
Many different reasons one may want to disabled it.

I did my 2013 the same way I did my 2010, 2008 and every other truck before that. It hasn't changed.

My 2007 was easy. The bullydog gt has a seatbelt chime switch to disable it. Don't dare put a programmer on my 2013 since it will void the warranty. Next trip to the dealer il have to ask them if there is a way to disable it. If anyone knows let me no thanks.

what carl said ^^^^^^^^^ its the same as the 3rd gens but i have to remember how its done, its been 7 yrs since i did my 07 lol. i think its turn on acc and plug and unplug seatbelt three times and with it plugged in turn acc off and it should chime if i remember correctly.

yes i like mine off for the same reason, for driving around the shop at work or driving around the job site. i wear my seatbelt when driving just not to jump in the truck and drive 500' around the shop.

Get in truck. Close door. Put seat belt on. Turn key on without starting and wait for seatbelt light to go out. Unplug and plug in seat belt 3 times ending with it still plugged in. Turn key off and open door. Done
