Post 2014 Ram 3500 to have air suspension...

This is a thread to collect information as it becomes available about the 2014 3500 having air suspension. Some of the websites (Alpar) are reporting that air is on the way.

So:
Confirmation?
Availability Date?
Cost?

Please provide links or cite what your sources are.

I have decided that if Ram comes out with air suspension similar to the Kelderman that I have on my truck, I'll sell what I have and get a new truck...

Seems strange that a major upgrade like that would not come out when the 13's came out.

If it came out on the '13, people wouldn't get them until late '14 anyway

Yes, I think it's coming.

why not just make a dang basic truck, with out all the added GAK, bet it would take 20k off the price.

They do, it's called the Tradesman trim level these days instead of ST, but they are wayyyy cheaper and no-frills. I'm sure the air suspension will be a high level trim option.

I'll be getting the cheapest trim possible, but i don't think I can pass on the air suspension.

If they are smart, they won't. How many fleet sales would/could they lose if it was only high trim level? Companies that haul and tow and such don't buy their guys Laramie's to use, they buy the most basic they can.

I hope it's a better system than they're using on the 1500s. Seems for them it's cut their towing capacity and if they overload it, the system goes into some kind of "limp" mode. Not 100% possitive about those statements, just what I remember reading about some of the complaints. When I buy a 3500, I plan on it doing work! I've been thinking about a Kelderman system to help with the ride quality, but without sacrificing the towing capabilities. If a stock air ride can do that, then I'm all for it.

Well if I build and price a 1500 online I don't see the air suspension as an option until I'm at least to Big Horn/Lonestar trim level. Not on Tradesman or SLT.
