Break in Period Necessary for Deleting/Tuning?!

Just curious if anyone has any recommendations for a break in period (certain amount of hours or miles) on a new 17' 2500 Cummins before deleting the exhaust and tuning?!
Your help is greatly appreciated!

No break in period for the engine, just a matter of when you are confident your engine has no manufacturer flaws and are willing to toss out any warranty on your engine and transmission. So if you end up being the unlucky extremely few with a bad engine, be prepared to pay for it on your own.

After learning what I have on my 2 previous trucks, I deleted my '16 right at the first oil change 5k miles. I think sooner the better but only as soon as you feel comfortable that the truck isn't a lemon.

Is the idea here to delete sooner so that the motor lasts longer?
