Options - do you wish you had got something you didn't and vice versa?

Let's talk about options..what's worth it and what's not?

I see the anti spin diff as one of the major ones.

Do you have anything on your truck that's a waste of money?

Auto headlight/wipers is a bust for me......and the bed lights.
Rear window defrost a plus......
The 8.4 nav unit is nothing special but radio/9 speaker/bass speaker is pretty good for a factory set up.....
Aisin is a plus in my book....

Bought a tonneau cover for absolutely no reason. They look nice, but it lasted only a month on my truck. Need to haul the motorcycle on long trips.

The rear window defrost is useless for me. I wish I had the front parking sensors and the Alpine sound system.

Good to know.

I should have put in the title what options can be added later, etc.

For instance, if you get a tradesman with the Uconnect 3.0, can you add the 8.4 on your own? Is it worth it?

I'm also curious about the interior. The Tradesman is the bottom of the line and the Laramie is the shiznizzle, but is there anything in between?

Regarding the interior, The Big Horn package is in between the two.

I have the Big Horn interior which has 99% of what a Laramie has except for leather seats.

Is there a difference between the BH and SLT?

I think they're the same. I think the Big Horn package is called the Lone Star package in Texas. SLT, Big Horn, Lone Star...I'm pretty sure they're the same.

Auto headlights/wipers are a waste for me and with that option I couldn't get the second camera for the bed/screen in rear view mirror which I wanted.
Love my heated steering wheel, first vehicle to have this option. (I can't believe I just wrote that I love my heated steering wheel in my PICK-UP??)
