Question 2016 with random stalling?

New member, driven here in search of some wisdom.
I have my truck at the dealer for a random stalling issue and so far nothing..
1. 15k miles on it
2. All but once it has happened while stopped at a light, the other time I was under 5mph coming to a stop.
3. Usually before it happens it will "stumble" at idle.
4. Usually it will happen after exiting the freeway and stopping at a light on the access road, after coming to a stop and sitting at idle for a minute it will stumble and then die shortly afterwards, no codes, no lights, I put it in neutral and it starts back up no problem.
5. This is completely random but I have noticed it happens after sitting overnight or at work all day.
6. If it does happen it will usually repeat the stall within a few minutes, always at the stop. I break slowly no sudden braking stuff and drive conservatively (no hot Rodding).

My 2016 3500 recently done this 2x. Once on a freeway in houston, once in a parking lot. Not sure why either. Both times on a pretty fresh air filter. I was thinking maybe my keys are to heavy, plus i had a broken ecm fuse I thought maybe was getting dirty or moisture in it. I did change the fuse and so far no more issue, crossing fingers.

Remove the cover off your fuse box and make sure they are all pushed in all the way...there is also a wiring connector near where the steering column goes thru the firewall that has been known to not be plugged in all the way .....Has the dealer tried to fix it for you yet?

I'm keyless so no issues with them being loose in the ignition. The dealer look and at it today and couldn't duplicate it, but said there was a know issues with trans fluid being a little low that has caused some random issues such as this. I did some internet searching and there is some info backing this theory up. They were upfront with me and said this was their best guess and I will monitor and see if I happens again, I will update this thread in a week and update everyone and let you know if it persists or has been corrected as it would happen weekly but also randomly.

My first one happened just before my 60,000 mile transmission service. Second one was after the service.

I will check them in a week to see if the tranny thing fixed it, I'm trying to be methodical to make sure this is fixed/gone.

So after it doing it 6 times in one day I took I back in and they were able to get it to repeat it for them. Now the good new is they have determined the air intake valve was sticking and have replaced it. So once again I will follow up in a week to see if it is gone for good, on a side note they fixed the wind sounds from the AC air box

Are there any codes or lights. Does it do it on its own or only if you give give normal fuel. Like if you baby the throttle will it do it?

I had similar issues on my '02 Ram 1500 and it was tranny related. Sometimes the fiters let air into the system and the engine is chasing the transmission load as air goes through the system before it's purged. Always happened after the first or second stops after leaving the driveway. If you can duplicate it safely, pull the trans dipstick and see if there are excessive bubbles on it.
