Whats up guys, time for me to change up my forum postings to this gen now. I previsouly had an 09 Ram 2500 6.7 auto crew cab short bed. It was 100% stock when I purchased it with 138k on it. In my 15 months of ownership I installed brake controller, EFIlive by Anarchy with CSP5 switch. EGR/DPF/NOX/CAT deletes and throttle plate delete as well. I put a Horn Blasters Nightmare Edition 544 train horn/on board air set up, weather tech floor mats, and an Edge CTS2 on an SRT10 pillar on it as well. It ran like a top but was not rated for enough weight for the 43' 5'er we got for camping. So I traded it in on a 2014 Ram 3500 manual Crew Long Bed black out edition. Only 14300 on the truck when I pulled it off the lot headed home. I've had it for almost 2 weeks now and love this thing!! I have gotten Westin black running boards, weather tech floor mats, and gotten the Nav unlocked on the factory head unit. Coming soon I will be putting my train horn/on board air on this thing, as well as once the warranty is out on it deleting it and tuning it again with Anarchy. It is deffinately cab wise bigger than my 09, my 3 kids love it because they have plenty of room in the back now. Can't wait until I can start upgrading it soon! I also have the Cat filter on it's way to add on from Diesel Fuel Filter Kits, I ordered one for my 09, and like 3 days after I ordered it I traded in my truck, so I had to send that one back and they are swapping it out for the newer style on my truck and are refunding some of my $$ back for the difference. Great sellers, I would recommend them so far just on their customer service!
:thanks2: My wife has ridden in enough of the newer trucks I've been test driving lately to let me venture 4 hours to go and get this one without having seen it herself other than pictures on the internet. Was well worth the trip, I'm happy, she's happy, everyone's happy haha!
Thanks, I can't wait to start modding it and making it more mine. I ready can't wait to get my train horn up on this truck, my kids love that thing lol.
thanks, i feel like it was well worth the 7.5hr round trip to get it, i love the truck and there isn't another one around me for at least 400 miles like it!
I had mine on a switch so i could use regular horn or train horn but did it at the steering wheel side of the wiring so even if the train horn was on it would honk the oem horn
Just installed my cat fuel filter, super easy install, at most it took 30 mins, minimum fuel dumping on me, highly recommend this for your peace of mind!
I guess let me start listing the mods I have acquired in the 2 months I've had the truck. Some are setting waiting on install, others are on already.

The autocal is from my old truck, I need to purchase the new license code for it and then get anarchy to tune this truck (I now have acquired an EFI Live V2 so I'll just hang on to the autocal, get it unlocked and have it laying around the house.). I'm making progress on gathering parts, that's for sure. All I need now is to get the exhaust and then I'm ready to void the warranty and delete. The bully dog and cable I only have about $180 in total as I bought it locally used but basically new, was on a duramax originally.
Someday I need to have coffee with someone that can tell me why it's in my best interest to spend upwards of $1000 to void a perfectly good factory warranty.
Friday I was able to get around to installing my Rough Country leveling kit, Rough Country dual steering stabilizer kit, & Rough Country steering brace. All in all it took 3 hours, not bad at all. Rides good, just need to get the front realigned so the steering wheel is straight again. I'll snap some pictures tomorrow. About 2 weeks ago I wired up the led bar to the EAS power switches, looks damn good. I also got my train horn re-installed on this truck, wiring it tomorrow.
I updated my parts list that I have gathered, its starting to get long. Just need to get my tune and the delete pipes and I'll be ready for when the warranty is gone. Not deleting before tho. Hopefully tinting my windows today or tomorrow if it stays nice out, 20% all the way around.
Little update, the windows are tinted, just got 35 12.50 20's installed today on my factory wheels, no spacers. Updated my radio and about to install the jumper wire to be able to have my backup cam in my mirror and 8.4 monitor, actually be able to see it. Pictures to follow soon.
not really a new purchase, had it for over a year now...
