Can a push button start from 2013 Ram be put in my 2012 Ram??

Hey guys just wondering if it is possible to put the push button start off the 2013 Rams and put it in my 2012 3500 Ram? Has anyone done this or is it possible? I would like to do this if it is not to hard and not to expensive. THanks

probably not...there's a reason why it came in other Chrysler products as far back as '11...the pcm's or something are different...

Adding a push start itself is simple... there are tons of kits out there. However you'd still have to put the key in and turn it on and then press the button to start the truck.

you can do a keyless push button start with aftermarket kits, you CANNOT do it with a Chrysler retrofit from a 2013 or any other car. Chrysler wont release certain codes for that to happen

I'm with the op on this...I'd like to have push button start and I'm tired of digging my keys out of my pocket, etc. Can someone post how we can do something???
