OOOOPPPSSS, After I voted I realized it says if you have had a blown HG. I do however have the coolant bypass done on my truck, and haven't had any issues......even without upgraded head studs.

Same here on the old truck, deleted with sinister kit ran smarty jr until silver 66 came in. Upgraded to smarty sr and beat the pi$$ out of it with no issues... I have yet to blow one, I would however recommend the bypass. I don't believe there's real proof yet (don't quote me) if blocking it or bypassing it makes a difference but it helps me sleep at night...

my egr was still on the truck when mine blew, running wild setting when the truck wasn't warmed up, -32c cold coolant setting is at 170 now
there is a heater hose that comes off the back of the engine, i don't think it makes a difference if its plugged or rerouted, it is the high cylinder pressures that cause a blown head gasket, and the factory machining on the head, plus the 5.9 is plugged in that spot, the 5.9 and 6.7 heads are identical except for 2 small cooling holes between each cylinder

I have a 2011 2500 that i bought new in August 2011.
I deleted it when it had 6000 miles on it. I used the Sinister Delete kit with the bypass.
I have the H&S Mini maxx on it and i have the Hot Damn w/ boost tune on it and I run it on hot all the time.
I dont beat on my truck but.........everyone has a different view on beating on it. I pull out fast most of the time and things like that but dont trash it.
I have ARP 425 head studs for it but I have not put em in yet!!
Anyway........I have had NO problems with my truck. Very happy with it!! I get around 19 mpg on the hwy and i run 35x12.50 mud terrain tires on it.
