Question 2010 problems???

My dad is fixin to get rid of his o6 3500 to get a 2010 3500. he wants to know or get some input on if and how often the DPF has problems or has dodge corrected this issue. Thank u

Like any vehicle, there are some issues. The emissions equipment is fine, they got the majority of the problems sorted out by late 07. If you drive it like a minivan instead of a truck, you will likely have issues and be unhappy with it though. Other than that, they are a great truck.

good deal. his buddies 08 has all kinds of issues with his DPF thats why he is hesitant about gettin aanother cummins. all our dodges are pre-dpf

Problems were fixed by later 08. The problem trucks seem to be the ones that didn't get updated flashes or had already had problems by the time the good flashes came out. I was happy with my 08 and bought a 10. If I had thought I would have problems I would have never bought another one.

ive got rust on my bumper. noticed it 2 weeks after i got it and its getting worse.

100k mi bumper-to-bumper is about $2800 from the dealer. If your'e spending $50K+ it might be worth it.
