Should I go with a train horn kit or a Hadley air horn kit?

what are the hadleys? like big rig horns?

i had train horns on my truck last year before my cheapo pump went out. i LOVED em.

i vote train horns.

Yeah, Hadley's will be on most Semi's you see. I work at an RV shop so I hear many different types of horns. I like the Hadley's in my opinion.

go with train horns. i have a 3 trumpet train horn setup with a 5 gallon 200psi air tank. their loud as hell. then i also put in 2 grover 1510 stutter tone fire engine horn. their pretty loud as well

Just found this thread. Hornblasters 540 Conductors kit. Viar 400 compressor 5 gallon tank and 150 psi switch. Got it for Christmas. 4 big horns. Check out the vids at Hornblasters.com. It's expensive but it's well made. They say the 5 gallon tank is the minimum amount you should get.

I have the Maximus 3 and love it. The lady's love it too, and if you are lucky they will flash for more honkin'. All 175 decibels.

My buddy has the same kit. It's loud and a ton of fun! That kit will being on my truck soon.

Vote for train horns. Had a set on my Durango and plan for a set on mine Ram sometime in the near future.

'05 2500 QCLB 4WD aquired @ 130k miles, smarty S06, autometer gauges, straight pipe, heater core shutoff valve, steering box brace, red head steering box, 45% overs, S&B intake, Fuel Lab lift pump with 1/2" braided stainless steel line to the CP3.
