Hello everyone I have had my first 2003 5.9L Cummings for a couple of months now and will never buy another truck again but anyway,,, have 2 questions is there a way on how to clean turbo ,,,,, and can I take out silencer ring without it hurting my bone stock truck thank you for looking and possible help,,Tim
I would soak a rag with break parts cleaner and wipe the inlet area off. Unless your talking about cleaning the exterior of the turbo?? Removing the Silencer ring will not hurt the motor/Turbo, it will not make more boost so no performance gains. You will be able to hear your turbo sing loud and clear.
