Air To Water Aftercooler

Never installed, has some very light scratches, no dents. Comes with fittings for 5/8" supply and return hose (not the ones in the pic). $110 Shipped anywhere in the lower 48!

um call me stupid but i dont quite understand how that thing works

air flows through the 2 big openings.. the big square in the middle is like a radiator. you hook a water supply to the top and bottom of the square and when water flows through it cools the air down.

so basically a intercooler but just doesnt cool as much im guessing

thats debatable, KTA made 627 with an Air To Water, not this style but the factory cummins one. The biggest plus is you can run ice water through it and get you intake temos down close to freezing. While melting piles of ice day to day is not cheap, its nice to use oulling or drag racing. and if you put a heat exchanger in the return line with a little fan you can keep the water around ambient temps, same with your intake air temp.

How does it hook up to the truck? Do you have to get different tubes from some where to adapt?
